The JS8500 Series 55"-Class 4K SUHD Smart 3D LED TV from Samsung is designed to deliver enhanced color reproduction and an immersive viewing experience. This model has a 55"-class LED display with local dimming technology, and features a 3840 x 2160 native resolution for viewing detailed 4K content. You can even upscale lower resolution material to near-4K picture quality. Clear Motion Rate 240 technology is onboard for reducing distortion on fast moving images like televised sporting events.

As a Smart TV, this model has Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity for accessing Samsung's app-based Smart Hub. The Smart Hub offers a full web browser and allows you to explore streaming multimedia content such as Netflix, YouTube, games and more. Built-in S-Recommendation helps you discover additional content based on preferences. This model even allows you to wirelessly mirror content between your TV and compatible portable devices.

The JS8500 includes the Samsung One Connect Mini Box for external device connections. With four HDMI and three USB ports, you have multiple options for connecting high-resolution audio and video sources. One of the USB ports is located directly on the TV for connecting an optional camera. A component video input is also onboard for connecting additional sources; the component video connection is shared with a composite video input for interfacing lower resolution sources.
